ODP Continues to SleepWhile Google still holds some regard for DMOZ by continuing to use their directory results, DMOZ is still at a stand still.
Many webmasters say the Open Directory Project (DMOZ) is dead.I disagree, ODP is just sleeping.and has been for some time now. There seem to be less and less “volunteer” editors, and fewer actually participating in the “project”, minus added their own websites (and friends websites).
So the questions I have is “when will ODP wake up?”
And when this “once giant” awakes, what changes will be made?
The other side of it is ODP may go into “a comma”, get dumped by Google, then.die.

Reports of Google Dropping Indexed PagesI am hearing a lot of buzz about Google dropping many pages from it’s index.
A WebmasterWorld thread is reporting, in heavy numbers, that Google is returning fewer results for sites they have in their index.
If you do a “site:” command in Google, the number of results being returned is much lower than in the past.
This is not only being reported by one or two people, there are dozens of people reporting this in that thread.
WebmasterWorld administrator, Tedster, confirms:

AdSense clicks are up, but earnings dropped.My theory is that there are adjustments going on with Google’s “Smart Pricing” that is further hurting AdSense users while helping AdWords advertisers. From Google:
